I read the book "Myths, Lies, and Downright Stupidity" by 20/20 news anchor John Stossel, and I realized how wrong people are on a lot of issues. Here are some of my thoughts on some issues.

-Naruto is Stupid
Who told you Naruto is stupid? Yes, I am a fan, so it is a little bias, but saying you don't like a show because you can and saying you don't like a show because you have a logical reason are two different things.

One of the most common reasons that I hear for people not liking Naruto is because its fanbase is too big. Isn't that a reason why the show is good? If it's popular, there must be something about it that attracts consumers, revenue, etc. This dried-up argument is like saying you don't like American Idol because it is too popular, or Christianity because too many people believe in God. Sometimes being different is just being wrong.

Another common diss I hear is that the characters don't act like real ninja. But that, my friend, is what we call originality. There are already many films and television series based on original ninja. The creator, Masashi Kishimoto, has his own approach to integrating ninja with real life lessons. And he's getting paid well for it on top of that!

Finally, if it's stupid, why talk about it? If the show is so disgusting you can't bare to watch it, you may as well sew your mouth shut with your grandmother's sewing kit because being angry isn't going to make the show go away. If I don't like a show, I don't dwell on it, and if I really don't like, I would rather not mention it. Dedicating websites, video rants, etc. on hate is what brings down character.

-Nintendo
I knew the day would come! Everyone used to be so hyped-up on the Playstation and Xbox, but now what's on top? Nintendo is making more money than those other consols, since the implication of the Nintendo's Wii, and I couldn't be more satisfied. I'M NOT SAYING I DON'T LIKE SONY OR MICROSOFT, I have just always felt more connected with Nintendo characters such as Mario, Link, and Kirby.
